Invest in hotel chains: Opportunities are open to all

Tourism industry is standing before the booming threshold. In 2018, the total number of tourists to Vietnam reached 12.9 million, up 29% from the previous year. Ho Chi Minh City last year also welcomed about 6.3 million international visitors, an increase of 22.8% compared to 2016.

The best occupancy is in the 4-star segment with rental rates of around 80%, slightly lower than the 5-star and 3-star segments.

Hanoi also witnessed optimistic results. The average occupancy increased by 6 percentage points quarter-on-quarter and 4 percentage points year-on-year. The 5-star segment maintains a good performance with an average capacity of about 80%. The average room rate of the whole market increased by 3% 1 quarter and 17% 1 year. The average room revenue increased by 12% 1 quarter and 24% 1 year.
